Jehan! Wow. What can I say, you almost bring tears to my eyes, girlfriend. I’ll be filing away all of these recipes, you hear me?! I cannot proclaim myself to be a cook, but I am one of those types who will learn a few things, repeat them over and over and make them well… Guyanese patties-my specialty! I was online punshing to try and explain to a Trini friend how to make patties, but not just your average “run a de mill” patty (see North American commercialized Jamaican patty-sorry, but it’s the truth!)… no, I’m talking about the best patty there is (if you’re a Guyanese)-GUYANESE STYLE PATTIES! Right down to the lovely pans, I see that you have used… you captured my recipe perfectly, so it was as easy as right click, copy and paste! My only addition to your recipe since I like my patties hot is MIRI WIRI (or wiri wiri) pepper… gott have a few of those in there too for extra KICK! THANK-YOU for the inspiration… please update us on the business and you must be tinkin’ bout a cookbook?! Say yes, and I’ll be your first customer! There is hope yet for me to be “MCC-Meshelle Can Cook”! Cheers, my friend.

Your dishes look amazing. Do you make pulouri balls. Not sure how to spell it. My Gran used to make them and serve with Tamarind dipping sauce, I would love to track down a recipe.
